• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I have not heard of anyone fixing meatloaf that is in the recipe section, but I tried it this weekend, and it was a real treat to the taste buds. The only thing that I did different was, I injected it with Fab-B and added some Southern Flavor to it, smoked it for 21/2 hrs and they were ready to chow down on. Good eating!

It was done in only 2 1/2 hours? That is surprising. :? Talk about a really big fatty. 8)

I kept the temperture at around 275*. I used the Nu-Temp thermometer to monitar the internal temp of the meat. Got some fresh corn on the cob from Cox produce and smoked them also. Can't forget the new potatoes and fresh green beans. Ummmmm good stuff.

Sounds great! Good idea brother. Might just have to give it a try. How about some left over brisket to make up that meatloaf?

Meatloaf is great smoked. I use a metal bread pan so the juices stay with the meat and really make it juicy. Also try adding some carrots and chopped green chilies to taste. With meatloaf you can get really creative. It is a great way to fix a quick meal while doing a long slow cook off with a brisket.

Seems like I've seen a thread before on meatloaf. Anyone remember it and can find it?

Bigdog it's called a search.

Thanks Brian. I knew that, but am not good at them. Tend to use the wrong key words and waste too much time and get frustrated. Thanks for getting my back on this one.

Using left over brisket is a good idea. I bet that would be good. I think the next time I will bring the meat to life by adding some fresh hot peppers to the mix.

Used Hatch chiles in my last one, gave it a nice kick and the family didn't complain.
