Meat on a Stick

So a friend is graduating from the police academy and we are having a shindig. She's a big fan of meat of a stick, and I thought I would try to bring some smoke to the situation. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm a fan of Satay... chicken... beef...

If you'd like to go more of a Japanese style - check out Yakitori... same sort of basic idea, but different flavors.

Was thinking that at first. The trouble is that I have to cook it then bring it to the party. Satay seems to do well when hot and fresh.

My favorites are bacon wrapped italian sausage (Picture below), I do both sweet and hot sausage to please the crowds.

Also Spiedie Chicken is great, it can be eaten off the stick, or set inside a roll and pull out the stick to make a sandwich.

Ended up making MOINK balls that were a big hit at the party I went to. I smoked them, then put in a dish and drenched with Sticky Fingers sauce and let sit in the oven for about 30 minutes. Came out great.
