Made the dumbest comp mistake

Yesterday.....

Took a day of vacation, trimmed meats, got all packed up, got gas and snacks and headed two hours to the comp site.

Got there, huh, looks like we are the first ones??? Checked the comp web site, IT STARTS TOMORROW!!! Drove 2 hours home.


Now getting ready to do it all over again. Oh well, everything is still in the trailer ready to go.

Guess it's OK for me to fess up as well - Dropped the trailer off at the comp site on Thursday, locked it up tight with everything in it, drove home 40 minutes and got a good night's rest, drove back Friday AM, then realized that I left the keys to the trailer at home:doh:, so made the round trip to get them - I wasn't happy about it:evil: - the part that makes it worse is that the wife will never let me forget about it:blah:
