• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Thanks. Thanks a lot. No such thing as a sandwich like that here.

Now that is a sami. Got to get one next time I'm in NYC.

For those of you on this board who might stumble into Katz's without knowing how to order (and without a local Brethren tagging along) one of the modern wonders of the world, the key is to go to the counter, put a buck in the tip-jar, and tell the counter-man how you want it made. some people claim that the tipping doesn't help, but as they say, it couldn't hurt. There are people who also claim that it's gone down-hill, but I still like it.

And please, when ordering -

Lunch? I just finished breakfast. Farking oatmeal.

Great sandwich... I happen to like both that AND Carnegie Deli's pastrami. I'd take either and not be sad at all.

I haven't been there in months, my son loves it. I usually stop when we drive in to see my wife (she works at Hudson & Houston).

Now that's just mean, BYC.

Did I go around talking about the double shack burger I had for lunch at the Shake Shack last Thursday? No, because I knew they were closing the next day and won't open again until April.

Did I post a picture of the burgers like the one below so everyone who couldn't make it could stare at the tasty ground brisket, cheese and special shack sauce? No, becuase that's just plain mean.:icon_devil

I love Shack Burgers, ya farker, and I'm sure glad that you didn't post a picture of the cheese fries, either, because that would be cruel & inhuman...

Just out of curiosity....why no mayo or cheese?

No dairy with meat. Kosher law.

It's customary with pastrimi even if you're not keeping kosher.

Just curious, what's pastrimi? Low Fat pastrami?

Farkers.

I just helped my self to the "Cold cut buffet" at the conference that I am working.

Farkers.

:-D :-D :-D

Ahhh ....I see.......not a lot of Kosher laws to keep in my neck of the woods. Maybe thats why we don't have sandwiches like that around here....its a shame...really!!!
