It says Burger, but they had sheet loads of ribs, chicken, links, etc on the smoker along with 1# Texas burgers

The guy longed to go back to Texas, misses it much (that's you) but then thought he likes to bring a touch of Texas to California (you again).

It was Rob Flay FoodNation, think it was episode "Big BBQ"

I have driven by the place many times, right on the corner of Sunset and Figueroa. I was always on my way to my mom's usually for dinner so I never stopped. I will be in town this weekend and may have to take a trip over there.
