Salute Brethren,
I am in the process of rebuilding my precious Vermont Castings CF9050. I'm doing one hell of an overhaul and I will post pics later. I've been able to source every part I need except one .. On the main fire box (The core of the grill) there are two side panels bolted with 1/4-20 bolts... between the firebox and the panel there was some insulation. It was about 1/16th or 1/8" thick. I cannot find this insulation to save my life. It looked like some sort of fiberglass or possibly a paper. Does anyone have a source or know where I can get this stuff?
Again, it's 1/16th or 1/8th inch thick insulation that can withstand at least 600 degrees farenhiet (sp?).
