• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Ok guys, I am in the market for a new LP grill, but I want something on par with my old 4 burner Vermont Castings, in terms of heat retention and high heat grilling (cooking space would be ideal too).

I was thinking of a BroilMaster or a Holland as I have heard only very great things about both (The Holland is a bit different than most LP/NG grills, but I am intruiged by it), my range is in and around $800-$1000.

Any other brands in and around that range would help out too! :-D

I cooked burgers on a Holland once, it was like watching paint dry. It won't burn anything, but wouldn't be my choice for a searing grill. You can, however cook a larger piece of meat on it.

RC: Yeah I'd opt for a gasser instead of pellet right now, if I'm feeling like cooking with wood, I'll toss it on the fire box of my Bandera.

So yeah a gasser is what I'm looking for... But those do look bad@ss!!!

PB: I noticed their BTU's were only in the 13000 range, when most are in 40-60K range, I guess it makes sense, especially when it comes to the style and amount of grilling I do right now.

Well any thoughts on the Broilmaster??? Maybe it's time I ask my cousin at Dacor to hook me up (highly unlikely, but damn those are nice!)...
