• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Please excuse the geographically challenged,

but where are these two places?

You could always hit hickory log in Dexter MO on the way down for some ribs. Not very far from your home, but the ribs are good. I grew up on them there. When you hit nashville look for Jack's BBQ. It is probably the best in town. There is one off the Trinity Lane exit off I-65 right at you come to town. That is if you don't just take 55 into Mississippi.

Its Alabama For Sure May 26th-June 1

Gulf shores like to meet up with some of ya! Give me a hollar..

If you want some advise on good BBQ places in Alabama give me a hollar. Gulf shores is a blast, me and the wife go there a couple times a year at least. Before you get to gulf shores (probably 30minutes north) there is a town called Foley. There is a nice set of outlet malls there right off the interstate, if you are looking for that kind of thing. Of note in the malls is a nice cheif store that has all kinds of BBQ goodies ie rubs and sauces.

Check out Sea-n-Suds in Gulf shores for some great sea food, I love raw oysters and their's are reasonably priced. If you happen to get in the mood for Italian, check out Papa Rocco's. Those are the wife and I's two must eat places when we go down that way.
