• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I'm not new to BBQ, but I am new to researching it online. For the longest time, I used a Chargriller w/o the SFB, just did things indirect. Most of my smokes were either butts or ribs. Last winter I bought an electric Old Smokey smoker. My dad had the old Redi-Smok for the longest time when I was growing up, so it was more sentimental of a purchase. I've not mastered pulled pork on it yet, but it makes some killer chicken for pulled chicken. I did do a pre-corned brisket flat that turned out pretty good. I enjoy making my own rubs and sauces. I keep them simple and try to let the meat speak for itself.

Thanks for letting me join,

Heath
