Long Island Brethren

This is tangentially related to the Battle of the BBQ Brethren, so I believe that it should in the Competition BBQ forum, but if not feel free to move it.

If you are a Long Island area native and are free Thursday evening and Friday and would like to volunteer some time, please let me know.

It is extremely glamorous work, but here is the lowdown.

The company that is setting up the tent and chairs needs to do so on Thursday evening. Someone needs to be there until Friday morning to ensure that it's not swiped or kids don't vandalize it.

I will most likely be sleeping in my car overnight while watching the tent, but if anyone could spell me out for a few hours Friday morning or Saturday evening before I get there, it would be appreciated.

Why not set up Friday am?

Ask the fire department lady to plant a truck or ambulance there overnight with a rotating shift, no? We/Sayville are giving them a spot to do the fund raising/awreness thing, right? Least they could do.
