• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Looks like LSG posted a picture of their new upgraded fire box grates over on their Facebook page. Laser cut out of 1/2" steel. If these don't last forever, Im not sure what will.

that is a lot better looking grate then they used to have .

That looks great. Checked and didn't see it on their website yet but will have to invest on one when my other on burns through

Me too!

That's sucker must be heavy though. Sometimes it's a bitch when I remove my 1/4" ash pan.

I agree. That thing may last forever but my strength to lift it out will not! BUT, when I have to replace my grate, I am sure to get that one.

I ordered one of the ash pans with mine and I was kind of thinking that would be the case.

My smoker sits against a wall so I can't fully open the firebox door to get a good initial grip so that's probably more my issue specifically. I'm young now and not a big deal but I always think when I get up there in age I don't know if I'm going to me able to lift the thing. I suppose that's what kids are for so I better get on that. :-D This thing is going to outlive me for sure so I gotta pass it down.

Hint, hint cowgirl:oops:

I like it, don't think I could afford it though.

The grate is legit. I was in their showroom Friday finalizing details on my trailer before he starts my build.
