So the wife and I were at the store and rounded the corner of the meat dept and we started looking when suddenly to my eyes appeared a sign that read twin packs of pork butts on sale for $0.74/lb. Seriously? Single butts were still over $1.10/lb.
So 60lb of pork butts later......We got THICK csr's falling out our ying yangs, 5/8" cut pork steaks, and I saved a couple Butts for the smoker.
Come to find out, 60 lb of pork butts on a kitchen table all cut up is a big pile O' meat!
Ohhh and also got 10lb of ground chuck at $2.05/lb Normally their chuckie is $3.99 / lb and their other ground what ever is $4.99/lb
So we scored 70lb of meat total. Nice Friday!
