• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Alright, .... trimmed up a couple Tri-Tips, hit them with olive oil/garlic/rosemary blended up, then rubbed them down with a course rub.

Then tossed them into my new chamber vac (avid armour usv32) on marinade cycle for a couple cycles.

Then onto the Scottsdale Santa Maria with Pecan wood.

Grilling time...... lets see how these turn out.

Will the quick cycle marinade make a difference? We are about to find out.

Alright, these turned out pretty good. Not sure if the vacuum seal with this type of seasoning/marinade made a huge difference. Now granted this was not a true marinade, just oil and dry rub really.

Either way, they did turn out pretty good, and good Sunday cook/lunch. Love cooking on live fire.

Here are some pics to share final results.
