Has anyone ever used lemon wood for a smoke? My cousin has a lemon tree he doesn't want anymore and offered it to me. A quick search I found this:

ORANGE, LEMON and GRAPEFRUIT - Produces a nice mild smoky flavor. Excellent with beef, pork, fish and poultry.

I'm just curious if anyone has ever cooked with it and their thoughts/opinions on flavor. Thanks.

Thanks guys. I'll try it out and see how it goes. If all else fails I'll have free wood for the fireplace come winter.

JT- cut it down first! and split it works better that way

if all these guys are getting your wood - then send me all the seeds, you can make gasoline out of the fruit peels
