Is lookin for wood to cook with.
I learned about a charcoal snake trolling the BBQ Brethren forums. As a newbie, I was intrigued by the idea. However, the examples I've seen were works of art. Meticulously laid out to ensure a smooth even burn over time.
Here's my lazy version in a BGE. It took about a minute and a half.
Put a potting plant in the center of the charcoal grate, pour in lump, add your wood for smoke. Then remove the pot and light the edge. I used two Weber lighter briquettes. Once I replace my chimney lighter, I'll use that instead.
I know. A key tenant of low and slow is patience. I'll work it out in therapy.
