Laughlin NV

Took a two hundred mile round trip to Laughlin NV yesterday just to hit the MInato Sushi Bar.
Between the wife and I, we consumed:
16 pieces of sake (Raw salmon)
4 pieces of hamachi ( Raw yellow tail tuna)
2 orders of fresh water eel (Cooked)
1 crunch roll (6 pieces)
1 orange crush roll (6 pieces)
1 super spicey crunch roll (6 pieces)
2 large saporros
2 budweisers
Total $106.00

God I could do it again today!

Joe, I actually ran a restaurant years ago with a master sushi chef in one of the kitchens (I studied a little under him). Needless to say I love GOOD sushi and used to eat it at least once a day in some form (until I got sick and a doctor told me about parasites)http://www.medicinenet.com/19929).

That's quite a farkin' lunch, Joe! I have to say though, that I drove 460 miles, round trip, to meet some of the TexFOs one day for lunch. I didn't spend $100 on the meal, but the gas helped make that an expensive trip!
