We have a Kingfisher dual rotisserie that we love, but recently have been having motor issues. We took them apart over the weekend, and got mud dobbers out of the motors, but it would still struggle and would stop during the all day cook. My working theory is the rotisserie mechanism (metal/steel rod, etc) needs to be lubricated after 15+ years of work and sitting in a barn in Missouri. With the motor off the smoker, on either side, turning the rotisserie by had was difficult at best. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

With the motor disconnected from all mechanical parts, it should turn easily. I'd work on that until it moved smoothly, then put the motor back online. It may have already damaged motor if the mechanical part put too much load on it.

I think any NSF High temp would work.

Great info, thank you. I'll look to see if I can find a diagram of both rotisseries to make sure we get the bearings and all friction points properly lubricated. Thank you again.
