this was hands-down the best brisket I've cooked so far. It was prime from Costco weighted just under 15 lbs. I used four chunks of Post oak 2 chunks of mesquite and B&B oak lump. It was Smokey but not overpowering? you can definitely taste something different other than the standard hickory and pecan. my sister can't stand real Smokey BBQ and she absolutely loved this brisket. For rubs I used Kosmos Cow Cover, Holy Gospel, Three little pigs Texas Beef and Killer Hogs A.P. injection was Kosmos Smoke Reserve, and Kosmos Mop
