my roommates grandfather has a pit he made out of aluminum keg thing. Looks a lot like that. He cooks brisket in it over direct heat. Easily one of the most delicious briskets I have ever had. I tried to get the secret out of him but he dodged my questions.... :icon_smil

I ended up with the keg grill one of my room mates brought down to college, unfortunately when I moved last the weld that held the keg on top of it's stand broke. So it's on the disabled list.
