• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Our first two classes have sold out, but we decided to add a third date. It is in the Kansas City area on Feb. 27th.

The first 30 get a tell all experience that replicates exactly how Gettin' Basted and Shake'N Bake BBQ managed to walk away with a Grand or Reserve Grand Championship better than 35% of the time!

I'm doing Chicken and Brisket and Tim is on Ribs and Pork. Our techniques together are unstoppable. Unfortunately for us, we are way too dumb and stubborn to listen to each other, but that doesn't have to stop you from getting the best of both worlds!

Is this class going to focus a lot on drums and management of their cooking or will it also be helpful for people who don't use a drum?

The number one focus of our class is that our attendees go out and start winning championships. This is a Championship BBQ Class, not a drum commercial.

It is a tell-all covering such things as:

Meat selection and trimming/preparation for a competition
seasonings/injections/mops/wraps/sauces/etc...
flavor profiles
boxing/finishing
hot and fast timeline

Like any other class, this will be executed on the cookers we use for competition, which happen to be Gateway Drums.

So basically, the information given will translate well to other cookers, but obviously we feel that the drums are the best way to accomplish our style of cooking.

Tim and I are both BBQ enthusiasts and have cooked on just about everything between us, so we will be happy to help you translate our techniques to your cooker of choice.

Let me know if you have any more questions!

A promised Brinker appearance might tempt me;)
