Kansas City BBQ

Some friends took me to the Chiefs pre-season game last night. On the way up there, they were discussing where to eat. Being the BBQ guy, they asked me where I would go. I suggested LC's. It is about a mile or 2 from the stadiums and a staple of fans for years. So they trusted me and we had a great meal. We had ribs, pulled pork, and my favorite, burnt ends. It was awesome and all loved it. LC was there as usual, and since he was not working the pit as usual, I got a chance to talk with him. He was very personable and seemed happy to talk to people about his place. I reccomend it next time when you are going to a game there. Some day they may even start playing baseball there again.

Amazingly enough, I have never eaten at LC's. Gonna have to try it when I'm up towards Narrowhead for the Broncos game later this year! :wink:

Even if LC is working the pit he will take a few to say hi to out of town people if he knows they are there. He is a class act.
