• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I added 2 fold-down side tables to my Egg roost, giving me an extra 2' of work space. I also built a stand for the Kamado to sit on. I had to lift it out to remove the step stones under it, to make it lighter I removed the fire ring and fire bowl. Worried that the repair job I did on it 3 years ago might not be holding up I decided to use the spare parts I had for it.

The repairs on the ring and firebowl are still intact but the clay coal grate didn't. Decided to use a Lodge cast iron trivet I was saving for the Egg and hold off on using the spares for now.

So I will let this stand as a Testament to the healing powers of Hercules High-Temp Furnace cement and may Kamados everywhere be forever saved! Can I get an Amen!
