• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Nope. I've read the reviews before and I'd love to try it. But by the time you tack on the shipping costs you've got quite a bit of money invested in something your just going to burn for fuel. Let us know if you try it out.

I feel the same as you. I would like to find someone near me so I could share a pallet. Out of Atlanta a 30 box pallett shipped to Fort Myers,FL is $370.00 thats 510 lbs .73 per lb

Back in the islands where I was stationed in the in the early 70's, the natives grilled thier chicken using coconut husks. The Q tasted ok to me but I sure wouldn't pay top dollar for any fuel; not when there's pure wood available.

Frank, there's plenty of oak in FL, especially the panhandle. It just might need a little dedication getting some. Consider a truck/trailer road trip with some other Flobro's to split the costs.

My boy, Mook, just hooked me up with some oak he had. Brings tears to my eyes to see it burn for so long!! I use to just use coal. Now that is just a way to get my fire started!

.73 per pound? Considering that I just got some Kingsford on sale for .20 a pound, it better burn for 4 times the time.

Now figure in all the wood that I have that is free, one chimney beter last long enough to do a whole brisket.

I was thinking of trying some this weekend. I took the week off work so I was thinking tomorrow I would drive up to there place and pick me up some. Then do a brisket saturday and give yall a report.
