Just Ordered

I ordered a Food Saver Pro III vacuum sealer plus extra marinade canisters, a KitchenAid Food Grinder Attachment for the mixer I bought my wife and a Kenmore KFPM760 700 watt food processor today.
Can't wait to marinade or brine using the vacuum canisters.
These things should help to make prep easier and with more consistent results.

Doing the marinade in a vacuum is great when time is short.

Is the grinder made of plastic or some composite? I tried making sausage with a friend and used his attachement which was plastic. The problem was the thing would heat up and the fat in the sausage would start to get soft. Had to work fast and keep the mix as cold a possible.

It's not going to be a heavy use item. It's just me and my wife. Just to make fatties, burgers and such. I got her a really strong mixer, so it should do the job just fine.
