• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I think that's the first time I've seen Racer post a food pic besides Spam. I don't think he actually cooked those ribs.

Tsk...tsk....tsk....oh doubting one.

Did not take a pic of the ribs, but here's one of the pork loin - smoked, sliced and lightly sauced with a glaze of honey, molasses, onion, garlic, butter, Kentucky Bourbon and "natural juices".

Pork - It's "What's for Dinner?"!

9lb prime rib bones removed and tied back on. About 2 hours over oak and hickory. Slathered w/ mustard, garlic and wooster and then rubbed. Cooked it to 120 in the center.

Looks like mustard on the pork loin.

Some of the mahna mahna mustard is in the "natural juices", along with bacon drippings.

Nice looking meat Matt! - Good to see you cooking again.

And you too jsimon! I've never used dogwood - do you used it a lot?

Racer putting up porn - I'm shocked!

I've used it a lot recently. My landlord cut down a d-wood tree and has a mound of wood sitting in the back of the building. I've cooked a small set of country-style ribs and beef ribs, as well as the rib tips pictured above. The photo makes them look burned, but that's the flash effect, as they're anything but.

I gotta lay off cooking for a while. I posted just after I got the SKD, and I've been cooking rib tips constantly to get the hang of how to use get the heat in the SKD up properly ($.99-$1.19/lb here in Chicago). I've probably been through almost 40 lbs of tips by this point, and I'm surprised they're not all on my backside right about now...
