Knows what a fatty is.
Hey all,
I posted under the Comp forum, but I probably should introduce myself here. I'm Brian from the Coatesville, Pa area. I have been "backyard" grilling for a while, but have been turned onto charcoal and wood grilling by my uncle, Pig Headed (Ron). My friend and I have done some grilling and smoking on the side, when we cook every year for our fantasy football draft, however, it never really went past that. I have attended New Holland Summerfest (right in my backyard basically....only 15min away) as a spectator for the past 2 years and assisted my uncle when he assisted with another team in Dover, De last year and that got me hooked on competition bbq. I was just heading down for the day to hang out with him and ended up being the "runner" for the team, along with his son. This past weekend, I had the pleasure of joining my uncle's team, Pigheaded BBQ, and assisting with the comp in Salisbury, MD (Pork in the Park). Unfortunately, for my wife....I now have a new hobby to add to my ever expanding list. This board seems to be very informative about different equipment, techniques, etc and it looks like I can stand to learn alot on this board.
Thanks for reading and hope to meet some of you at comps that we will be doing this year.
