Cuelio
is one Smokin' Farker
Hi, all, from the frozen north.
We've all heard of the deep south, but not so much of the deep north. Well, that's where I'm writing to you from. Actually, I grew up in the deep, deep south - Puerto Rico, to be exact. Been living in Minneapolis for the past 20 years. I'm happily married, and I'm the proud papa of a boy and a girl. I'm an attorney at the University of MN. I've joined because of the great info AND the great humor here.
I'll be getting a smoker soon, and if I can swing it, it will be a Bandera.
Banderas are hard to come buy in MN - as it was put to me - there is no "market" here for a major distributor to carry 'em. I've been looking at the Bandera's (evil?) twin - the Brinkmann Combination Charcoal Grilll and Smoker. The name rolls right off the tongue, eh? It's sold by Northern Tool and that's a store that is willing to order one for me to pick up.
One the other hand . . . I'm also considering heavy gauge types of smokers - the the Brinkmann Cimarron, or even a Lyfe Tyme - although that's a bit over my prive range. Any feed back on a purchase would be appreciated.
Best,
Luis Bartolomei
