• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Just made a batch of chili using Jeff's MOFO recipe. Used a small habanero and a pretty good sized frezno chili. Really nice. I like the beer in it. I almost grabbed the bottle of tequila to add a shot or two. Don't know why I resisted.

It is a good day for chili makin'. I don't have any brisket, will have to make some with burger this weekend..

Took the rest of my last batch of brisket chili to work last Friday.
2 guys had it cold for breakfast, the rest had some with lunch.
I love the recipe and have customized it a bit over the years always make sure I have extra cans or Ro-tel tomatoes on hand, just in case.

Great!!! Now I gotta do a brisket just so I can try the chili...

Made chili yesterday. Cooled it overnight and threw it in the crockpot this a.m. Chili and hot cornbread during the game......and beer......it don't get to much better.

Most of the time I use Ro-tel tomatoes for chili but this last time used fire roasted tomatoes and they will be in there from now on. A bit on the expensive side for canned tomatoes but this summer I'll be making my own and canning. I'll have to adjust the recipe to make up for the Ro-tel loss though. I only use bison and sausage as the meat in my chili since we don't eat beef because I can't find any grass fed beef around here anymore.
