and it is Pig Candy Pancakes!!
:clap::clap:

I was fortunate enough to be able to attend the soft opening of Bigmista's Morning Wood :shock:

I chose the Pig Candy Pancakes, and wow did I pick correctly!

The smoked pig candy had the right amount of heat and when stuffed inside (and out) of the fluffy pancake and drizzled in maple syrup, these were off the hook good.

I also got to sample the sweet tater tots rubbed in their pork rub, these were tasty nuggets of goodness.

Great to actually meat Neil and his crew as well!

Looks like Bigmista has another winner on his hands.

Was in LA yesterday morning, as Lee needed to hit the Jewelry district. If we knew the new place was already open earlier, we would have come by for some Pig Candy pancakes and Biscuits and Gravy. The sweet potato brisket hash sounds pretty enticing as well.

Sign looks great, can't miss that color!

Bigmista, I have to give you a sincere thank you. My daughter saw your menu and wanted to try making pig candy pancakes since pig candy is her single favorite thing in the entire world. We make some and covered it in pancake batter and she was a happy camper. Her new goal in life is to get to Long Beach and compare hers to yours.

That's saying something since she's only 10.

I can't wait to get down there and feast! :hungry:

Thanks for the pix and reportage! :clap2:
