Hello everyone, I am the newest member of the BBQ Brethren!
After years of eating friends and family's mediocre BBQ I decided to take the plunge and purchase my first smoker. I am now, totally addicted to the sweet art of slow cooked Q.
With 4 slabs of ribs and a pork butt under my belt thus far I now feel somewhat prepared for the upcoming football season. My problem, as many Bandera owners have had, is that I have had to use waaaay to much fuel over a 6-10 hour period due to the design of the firebox on the Bandera. My quest to mod the Bandera to make it as efficient as possible led me to various websites and the name Spice kept being thrown around. Needless to say Spice is the member that led me to the Brethren. Big shout to him for helping a lost rookie BBQ'er find his home.
