The first guy asked told me he wants a large.

2nd guy asked if I would take $200.

3rd guy offered $500 and wants it tomorrow.

4th guy also offered $500.

All I wanted was $500 to pay for the new setup.

I'd have at least asked 6-700 for that setup but take what you're happy with. But you know you undercut yourself if you have that many hits on a high priced item in 2 hours on craigslist.

Craigslist people wont offer anywhere near $700. I sold mine on there with a custom table. $500 is not a bad deal either way.

The egg alone is worth 650ish? Add a table 150-200 and that's without shipping costs. 500 is a steal and I'm not surprised he got so many hits so quickly. And he is in Texas.

I never agree to my lowest price over the phone or email because that prices becomes their new negotiating starting point once they show up. Sadly CL is one big game. Good luck OP. Hope you get what you want out of it.

I've seen the same 5 or 6 eggs posted for WAY too high that have sat on CL for weeks. I may have been able to make more but I wanted enough to cover my new one without being out of pocket. $500 accomplishes both with shipping and hopefully all within 24 hours. If the guy shows with less than $500 then I'll tell him to kick rocks. I don't have to sell it at all.

I won the egg. Plate setter was $100. Table cost $100 bucks to build and I loved every minute of building it so I'm GREAT with $500. Besides all that, 90% of people shopping for an egg are looking for at least a large. Don't see a huge want for medium eggs out there unless someone is adding a 2nd or 3rd egg.

I was hoping to get $400 and I'm in it $200 with the table and plate setter so I'm already way ahead.

Just wanna say that table came out primo. Good job on it. With my carpentry skills, that would have taken me a whole summer, and cost around $1K.

Thank you! I am pretty dam proud of that table. Came out better than I imagined. I'm going to build another one because I love the work space but it will be a completely different design. The new one will have a wood top (2X6 redwood) and black iron pipe legs. I'm getting all schmancy this time.
