Holy Habanero's Batman! I just cooked up a batch of chili to remember. Nothing special, just used William's Tex-Mex seasoning, splash of water, a pound each of beef and buffalo, garlic to taste (about 40 cloves for me), can of chipped chilies, Ranch style beans, whole kernel corn, and my new secret chili ingredient........Pace Chipotle Salsa. Believe me when I say that this salsa rocks. All cooking off in my new (old) cast iron deep skillet with lid. I'm gonna be eating it out of a bowl with a spoon before the night is over. Drool! Now where is that Guinness and my box of crackers.

DAMN- TASTY sounding!

Do you ship!!
Prices

YUMMY!

Ain't chili without William's, made a pot thursday when it was wet windy and cold, just right for chili and lot of my other winter foods. Maybe a pot of jambalaya or a good beef stew. Hate winter weather, love winter food!

You should taste it 81. I will make you want to move to Kansas. In Kansas our Wichita can stay on its feet while in Texas Wichita Falls. Actually I was raised a mile from the Oklahoma border so my attitudes are much more Oklahoman than Kansan.

Do you put cinnamon and chocolate in it and spoon it over spaghetti?

Beans? Corn? Salsa?

That'd get you arrested down here.....
yeah, yeah, yeah, we all know that chili is a texan word for to farkin lazy to finish the dish. In the midwest we don't quit until its right!

I have to use William's because it is a Lenexa, Kansas company. Actually it was founded in Webb City, Missouri, a fine little town right next to Joplin. In fact it was still in Webb City when I lived in Joplin. Don't you know that all good things meat come from Kansas and Missouri.

Guess I need to fire up the chili pot, too. We're having a cold snap: I think it got down to 57 or 58 last night and it's only going to about 80 for the high today --- Brrrrr!

Yep. Tuesday and Wednesday are looking really bad:

60 for the low and only 79 for the high.

Time to break out the ski jackets. Gallons of hot chocolate.
