• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Well after a long week, and an extremely long night (2am), I am happy to say she is smoking away :mrgreen:

Dumped a 14# bag of Stubbs into the basket...with tons of room! I am building racks this morning, but needed to get this thing lit.

Going to cook 3 fatties and 2 rack of ribs today on it. Ill update along the way with how it cooks, but after she heated up a little the exhaust is drawing nicely.

I still have some things left on the list to do, but wanted to see how she runs before finishing the entire thing off. Still have another days work on this thing.

8 days to build it. Now that I have this one built, I can probably drop some time off of it. I kept a cut list so I can do this again  This is the first of 3 new designs I have that I would like to take to market.

Fatties are almost done and threw a couple racks of ribs on there. This thing is super easy to control heat. I have about a 30* difference between top and bottom I will play with some air flow to get it closer. But I will cook and think about this for a while because this could be real nice to cook brisket hotter than my ribs at the same time.

I agree with having different temp zones.

Wow that was quick. All them Fab Skills and pics are sideways..........
Looks Good. What size is the exhaust.?

Not nice smitty, he had 1 pic un-sideways. Besides your probably just jealous like the rest of us. :pound:

Thanks everyone...Had a fun day with some light fab work making a couple of rack, drinking a couple cold beverages and playing with some fire :)

This thing cooks super fast...wow!!! Ive been cooking all day on this thing with the same load of charcoal from this morning!

And I did some chicken thighs tonight with the Rubbin' Right Honey Bourbon Plus Rub......If you havent had this yet, we took first in chicken with this rub a month ago

Sharon from Rubbin Right is a great person to work with and we are excited to work with her! She has some terrific rubs and is here on the board. Different than other rubs on the market, but the flavor profiles are awesome.
