• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Hi All. Phil pointed me to this great web site when he called last night trying to get into the CT State BBQ Championship :(

I'm a Contest Organizer, KCBS Contest Rep, KCBS CBJ and a competitor. I cook on a trailer mounted Klose 24" X 60", a WSM and a Weber grill. My own team, Chicken Chokin' Smokin' Blues, is currently inactive and lately I have been cooking with another team on a pick up basis.

I'm active in the New England Barbecue Society and served as its President for two terms.

Welcome Jim

WOW.

Great experience to share as these guys start entering more contests.

Glad you found the back yard.

Welcome aboard brother. Boy we just keep getting more and more people with "papers" everyday. Maybe we should start taking this circus seriously.

Welcome. Looking forward to meeting you up at the contest in CT. Great group of guys here, you'll enjoy it.

Jim, Welcome! It's a bit out of character for us to do welocomes in this forum that don't include, "we'll have you cranking out good Q in no time." Some how I think we'll get used to it. Great to have you aboard!

Jim
I want to thank you for all the hard work I know your doing in the NE. It takes folks like yourself to make BBQ grow. Keep on keeping on.

Welcome! We'll have you turning out great Q in seconds........

Mr. Jim-
Let me add my welcome!
For guys like me, who just learned to spell BBQ, I am delighted to see you here.
With all the talent and experience we are gathering--the sum will greater than the total of the parts!
Your credentials are respected and welcome!
