• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Got a few large turkeys. Gonna rub em and smoke em with hickory. What temp should I take internal? At the breast or thigh or both? Don't want to undercook them. Just need to know internal. 17 pounder and 20 pounder. How long approx to get to internal temp smokingcat 300 degrees?
 
If you are not spatchcocking them, put ice in the breast for 20 minutes before it goes on the smoker. This will even out your cooking time between the breast and thighs.
