• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Inside the world of Championship BBQ

Dude that made my night getting to watch that. I'm up all night cooking, dang I need a UDS. Figures that Lotta Bull was getting a call up. I'm gonna beat those farkers one of these days!!!

I have this video. It is actually pretty good, you get input from 4 different very successful teams on the BBQ circuit. I believe it is available in the KCBS Bull Sheet.

I have seen these ones and a few others. One was all about how to trim your lettuce. Pretty good stuff.

I got the video a couple of years ago as a christmas present, now they offer on DVD. It provides an interesting look at two different teams and thier trip to the Royal, with alot of different bites/blurbs from many KCBS circuit notables.

Definately not a how-to for competition cooks, but there are some tips that can be gleened from the footage.

Thank you for posting those links! I'll have to check the Bullsheet - I wouldn't mind getting a copy of the entire video.

In my limited KCBS competition dossier, a few things I CAN claim: I've beaten Mike's brisket (Lotta Bull). I've beaten Donny Teel's pork (Buffalo BBQ). I've beaten Paul Schatte's ribs (Head Country II). Just not all at the same competition, unfortunately... Ah well, somebody's gotta make all those guys look good, eh?:mrgreen::mrgreen:
