Info on a new to me Bandera

I recently purchased a new to me Bandera from a fella who told me his dad has owned it for years, its quite well used but it cleaned up rather well and has given me excellent results so far, after a few mods i found on here the temps are nice and even and it seems to be burning less fuel(although quite a bit still:crazy, my question is are there any tell tale signs on these things that will tell me whether or not its an original or not? I know the char broil ones are of lower quality but without having one to compare mine to its hard to know for sure.

you should be adding a split every 45-50 minutes. so 12-15 in a 8-10 hr cook.

Im more just curious if theres anyway for me to know for sure if its an original new braunfels or if its one from after char broil bought them out, like if having the new braunfels logo was originally a sticker as is the case with mine?
