• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

I just picked up one of these bluetooth iGrill mini's today and I'm just curious if any of you use one and what you think of them? Are they any good?

I like mine. Range leaves some to be desired but it is a handy unit. I like how it graphs the time/temp. Can see a stall coming on a long cook and adjust the pit temp to push thru it

I have 2 of the igrill 2 with 4 probes in them each. I love mine and have not had anything but good luck with mine. I can be cooking in the outdoor kitchen, walk in the house anywhere and have signal good except one spot in a hall way.

I normally do my research before I pull the trigger on a purchase. Wait until after and you might be part of the "why did I buy this?" club.

I reserve my spontaneous urges for...other things:wink:

got one and the igrill2. very happy with both but yes range is a bit short. otherwise I would recommend.

I love the grill mini, its my main leave-in thermo. Check the probe for 212 degrees in a pot of boiling water to verify the temp accuracy. I have been using the same probe for 3 seasons. The igrill idevices app is very easy to use and customize.

I have the iGrill mini & iGrill2,I bought both on sale.
I use my mini quite a bit for smaller cooks. The only downside is the range with Bluetooth isn't real far...but the iGrill works for me.

I have a mini I picked up in Lowe's on a whim.
I haven't used it in the smoker, but have used it plenty of times in the oven.
I think it works great.
