I (sort of) had a party.......

A friend planned on driving up from texas to spend a week with me... when another friend heard about it, she wanted to come too...then another friend wanted to be here. It snowballed into me having 17 house guests, nine of them here for 10 days....

Most camped out on the floor but some brought tents.

Here are a few meals from the get together.

one night we made a pulled pork tostada bar...

we went through several breakfast burritos...

we made several piles of sliders...

eggs benedict for one breakfast...

one day I made a big pot of chicken and noodles...

we made huevos rancheros with corned beef hash for one breakfast...

smoke chicken, bacon wrapped corn and cayenne/brown sugar/whiskey spam

abts... some filled with a crab/creamcheese mix..

I didn't get pictures of the pans of lasagna or pots of gumbo or the other meals.. I was just too busy.
It was a lot of fun...

Thank you George, Saiko, Danny, Bull and Bob! It was a lot of work for 10 days... but we had a good time.
They want to come back in July...that gives me time to leave the country. :-D

Something tells me that those folk only planned on staying a day or two -then tried your cooking and thought about moving in! Ten days? They didn't go home until July - they went home to sell their stuff - they'll be staying next time, with cooking like that! You're gonna need a bigger place. Everything looks great.
