I never even thought about that... This guy looked totally normal/legit... but then again I don't know what someone is supposed to look like if they have hot stuff.

I don't worry too much about an item being "hot" so much as having the criminal element coming to your place and cleaning you out after responding to something you have posted, which recently happened to a neighbor-tools,trucks,motorcycle all in broad daylight, luckily another neighbor caught a description of the A**holes.
I love Craigslist-but I hate the flakes!

There was a segment on the national news a while back about people who steal items from Target, etc. and then sell them on eBay. Some of these guys were stealing pallets full of appliances. None of the appliances had serial numbers so they couldn;t be traced, and the eBay buyer was getting new product in a new box with a valid warranty. Very hard to trace.
