• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Went by grocery & they had fresh trimmed butts for $1.29/lb.
I prefer small butts, shorter cooking time, more surface area for seasoning & smoke.
Seasoned with CYM & Pork Barrel Rub
Fired up my New Braufel El Darado with charcoal base & then fed pecan mini splits every 45 minutes or beer which ever came first!
Day was sunny & mid 60's but a 15- 20 mph wind.
Temp harder to control & variation across pit a lot more than normal.
Got to be flexible!





 
Yes!!! BTW I like small butts as well.
 
Two small butts, Yuengling Black & Tans, and your buddy! How better to spend the day. Not sure how the wasp and hornet killer fits in! Enjoy!
 
place in COL. O THERNS MEATS sells small butts 5 & 6 lbs. finest pork in central ohio them is some nice looken butts
