I hate you BBA Pitmasters...lol

We used to have an annual Sheepherders Fair, and some of the cooks used mutton, both roasted and in stews. I've eaten yearling lamb my entire life and mutton is way too strong for me.

Nothing wrong with mutton, stopped at Old Hickory Bar-B-Que a few year back while going down the bourbon trail. Had a big ol plate of it. Pretty good stuff.

And Hopkinsville...https://www.optimaplatform.com/optimamedia/products/P_31325/383f766d-30dd-4bc3-9eef-5d3fd6e991ca.pdf

And Waverly, and Madisonville and Horse Branch...You get the idea.

Had to do it. :biggrin1:

Bootleg is about a half a mile from my house. Don't let the menu fool you. Call them and ask how much they actually sell.

And Marion and Paducah. I moved away from West KY 20+ years ago and miss the hell out of mutton. I get some to bring home every time I visit. Grew up in Union County, so Peak Bros. in Waverly was a favorite and still is.
