Got a good deal on this rotisserie basket. Thought I might use it for roasting peppers or even almonds too...anyone else got any ideas?

A new toy :clap2:
Where did you get it and how much?
Peppers is all I can think of right now.

All veggies. That is a COOL looking basket. Might even work well for things like wings, maybe even hot dogs, I likey the new toy.

This was my dads favorite way to do chicken pieces. I still have his equipment but do not have a ring YET for my weber kettle. He would baste it on a regular basis, running over indirect coals. Good memories.

All good! Thanks. I was also thinking raffle tix or maybe even BBQ Bingo of some kind!
I got the basket off Ebay. Found it when I was looking for another rotiss...I gotta stay off Ebay.

My wife got me one similar to that (but with bars instead of a nice tight mesh) for Christmas. I tried a couple of things in it: Veggies, Wings, Meatballs... but they didn't turn out like I had hoped. Stuff kept falling through the bars or it would pop open, or stuff would just get stuck and not rotate at all... Mine pretty much just sits all lonely in corner now. Not sure if it was the gear or the gearhead that botched them though, so keep us posted on how yours works.

Since you obviously have no idea what to do with it, package it up and send it to me.

Why did I know that was coming! You may certainly barrow it but you'll have to bring Q in exchange for its use.

Now looks like I need to find some raw coffee, wings, veggies, peppers, popcorn, raffle tix, and little numbered bingo balls.

Thanks for the input. We'll put'r to good use and let you know how it goes.
