• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

OK, OK. I know that I knew how to do this, but I just this evening got around to scanning a few pics. I know how rabid folks around here can be about posting pics. Here are a few.

First off, hey, nice to meet you all! Here I am in my practice area in my backyard. THIS is what I actually look like - not very much like my Albanian avatar . . .

Here's a better shot of my smoker and grill . . .

Here's a shot of some ABT's all assembled and ready for the smoker . . .

And here are the same ABT's just about ready to come off the smoker . . .

I smoked those ABT's right after the ribs in this next shot came off . . .

What a fun hobby! And all the folks here have made it all possible.

Thank you all VERY much!

Good lookin' groceries my friend!!!!

Did you know that you have a little pipe sticking out of you head.....see first pic:rolleyes::biggrin:

Thanks, gang . . .

Yeah - I almost stopped to paint that out, but I decided I didn't care that it looked like that. After all, it is a self-portrait. I put the camera on timer mode, walked over and sat down. No flash. I think the exposure was around a minute or so . . . the only light on the scene was coming from lights inside the house . . . I had to sit REALLY still.

But don't worry - the pain of the pipe in my head is soothed by my practice of . . . Q-Fu . . . Brethren style.

This was my exact thought, but I had not idea what this dude's name was. I kept thinking "Kazoo" from flintstones.
Yeah - that'd be Ray Walston . . . man, I loved that show when I was a kid.
Wait a minute . . . this is getting off topic.
So, the thin blue smoke is VERY difficult to photograph. Anyone else have that experience? I positioned that shot above so the silver maple was behind the end of the pipe so that the thin blue would show up.
The smoker in the pipe-head shot was still running . . .

Great pics brother...thanks for sharing. Now that you have it down to a science we'll be expecting pics all the time! Gotta love ol' Pandora's Box!

Howdy

I just got one of those offsets and I am in the process of making it "mine. I need to get a pipe down to the level of the grate. Do tell if you found out anything profound!

Guys don't make fun of the pipe. The bend is to keep rain off of your brain-DUHHH.
