i have been eating Q my whole life, but not much around here until a few years ago when some transplants from texas peaked my interest. since then i started doing it (quite poorly i might add) on my SS gas grill. i started looking for a smoker and decided to start with a brinkman offset smokin pit. its far from ideal, but i have only had a couple disasters and one of them can be blamed on the beer.:-D
i was just introduced to this site a couple days ago via a link from a site dedicated to one of my other loves...the Minnesota Vikings. i have found that spending Sunday mornings tending the smoker are a great way to pass the time until kick off. (have to do briskets to pass the time for monday night games)
anyway, just here to pick up more tricks and ideas to bring to my next cookout, and to help me pick out my next great meat maker.
