Does anybody know what kind of compound or sealant i could use for the ball valves on my UDS? I have no welding skills or access to someone who does. The hole for my ball valves are just slightly big enough that the valves stay in the hole, but they kind of tip down. Im looking to seal it up nice and tight.

If you put it on a short piece of pipe, you may just be able to use conduit nuts, one on the outside, one on the inside. Look for them in the electrical aisle.

I used a short nipple through the barrel a coupler on the inside a conduit nut on the outside and cinched them up tight. No problems so far. :-D

Sounds like you made the holes a little too big IF the valve fits into them. In that case I would cover that hole with magnet and start over w/ the above mentioned methods. pipe nipple plus conduit nuts. good luck!!
