• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

Smoking a bunch of stuff for family today and will be putting on some bone-in and skin on breasts and legs later this afternoon at 225-250. I usually smoke whole chickens halved and doubt that parts will take as long -especially the legs. Anyone have a rough idea how long I should allow? Thanks!

If it were me, I'd cook them a little hotter, but if you want to do 225, I'd allow 2-3 hours.

Thanks! I'd normally cook them hotter too but I have a packer and a bunch of ribs on too with some andouille sausages going on later as well so I'm kind of stuck. I was planning three hours but it seemed like a long time...

Don't know, never cooked that low but I bet cpw is close

The packer needs to rest. Pull it put it to rest. Ramp it up to 300-350, then put the chicken on, it will be done in less than an hour.
