• xenforo has sucessfully updated our forum software last night. Howevr, that has returned many templates to stock formats which MAY be missing some previous functionality. It has also fixed some boroken templates Ive taken offline. Reat assured, we are working on getting our templates back to normal, but will take a few days. Im working top down, so best bet is to stick with the default templates as I work thru them.

There are lots of different ways to serve ribs, how do you like yours?

KC,
This is a hard question to aswer. It depends on what I feel like is how I cook my ribs... sometimes I just feel like rubbed and smoked, sometimes I feel like getting sauced.

I DO pay attention.

I voted for Memphis Dry because I like to eat at the Rendezvous and then head on over to the Rum Boogie for some Blues and Brews. But the truth is I like my ribs to taste good. I am not picky. Let the chef surprise me. Being a one-trick-pony gets pretty boring. I also like to coat them with a really heavy slather of cheap mustard before they go on the pit. Makes all the difference in the world. Basting with pickle juice (a la Rendezvous) is also really good.

Good chili at Hooters too.

Nuthin' compares to Hooter ribs and chili for quick, satisfying lunch.

You have never had lunch at Pig-In-Pig-Out in Wichita, Kansas. Just a local family resturant but they have won it all in Memphis before and serve up some mighty fine 'Q.

Like brother Wayne says. I prefer good spare ribs to good baby backs. Also love to smoke up some spares than finish em off with sour krout, cabbage and apples in a crock pot. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
