how big of a turkey can fit on 22" weber kettle?

Time to start thinking about thanksgiving. I am planning to smoke turkey again this year. What's the biggest turkey in pounds you have fit on a weber kettle? Last year I think I did 15# but I don't remember how much extra space i had left. I am using smokenator to bank coals on one side. The turkey will go on the top grate.

I've done a 16# turkey using a firebrick divider for the charcoal so that I can use indirect heat for even cooking. Brining helps to keep the bird exceptionally moist.

You could always grab the rotisserie ring and put on the largest bird you an find. I've done 25 lb-ers. Without, I wouldn't go much past 15 lbs. as you need space on top to keep the airflow right

Yea more on the rotisserie. I'm planning doing two 18-20 lbers on the rotisserie and maybe one more up in the swivel dome area (007- but still a 22.5" diameter cooker)

15# is about right. I don't like doing birds much bigger than that anyway.
