I'm in the same situation a Lazy Dawg.
Figure it's time to introduce myself and stop just lurking.

Well, my name is Steve, I live in North West Houston, a novice in the real BBQ'n.

I caught the bug by helping out a local church that cooks 300+ chickens about 5 times a year. I've had a 30 or 40 dollar bullet smoker and was never impressed so I went out and got a NB Hondo Deluxe about a year ago. I've learned alot from you brethern already and also know more about what I want in a pit one day.

I que'd my first pulled pork on Sunday, I'll learn to post the food porn soon. The neighbors loved it
